Hey I havent gotten to henchmen yet, but what Ive been doing in these situations is opening the official campaign in the toolset and looking at the settings, scripts ect. for what I am working on. I have learned so much and have been able to "borrow" scripts to make up for my complete lack of scripting expirience. I reccomend digging around the built in henchmen and see what you find.

Also the official bioware forums is full of people who answer these kind of questions all day.

Yo, I found this checking out a new site:

http://www.reapers.org/nwn/reference/

The function AddHenchman appears to be one of those that does the trick, but dont ask me how to implement it!!!!.

I am curious if you are trying to put a new henchman in the official campaign? I thought those file were set as read-only and assume the only way to make alterations is to save a new version of the mod in question under a new name and then load that mod from the "other mod" selection under new game.

Is this the case or are you making a custom henchman for your own mod?

Obsidian the Black 07-16-2002 11:46 AM

Yes, I want to put a henchman into the actual game.
