finnese any suggestions?
|
If you're taking it into SoA, Bard->Blade.
|
Pyrenk if he were talking SoA this would have been posted in the SoA forum.
|
Fighter/Mage, Fighter/Mage/Thief, Fighter/Thief. These are all finesse classes, though they are multiclasses. I think that the fighter/mage/thief is the best in terms of finesse fighting, little to no armor, the use of blades and he can magically buff himself...just my opinion too.
Bards are good, but they're not really finesse fighters, though they can be in BG2. All my BG1 bards tend to use missile weapons frequently. |
Firestorm, if he's starting in BGI, why would it be at the BGII forum? ;)

Just make an regular human fighter and put 18 in hes dex,str and con 2 stars in bow and long sword, give him Neutral Good Aligment and call him TyranyuS and u got a winner-boy!!!

Depends on what you mean by finesse. Do you want an uber-leet killing machine, or seldom-played class, or what?
|
Finesse=style=Blade.
The "uber-leet killing machine" is generally the opposite of finesse. A fighter with 25 in Str/Dex/Con, -20 AC, (what's the max?) -20 THAC0, etc. is an uber-leet killing machine, but has no style. Slash, opponent dies, slash next, opponent dies, etc. Essentially Diablo...which you know has no style ;) |
