Combat Casting, Empower Spell, Extend Spell, Maximize Spell, Quicken Spell, Silent Spell, Spell Focus, Spell Penetration, and Still Spell.

i never know which of these to pick! so far ive gotten combat casting, empower spell, and about 3 spell focuses [img]smile.gif[/img]

what do you guys use, and how do you like them?

It's strange, but i never use any spell feats. I just cast them normally. Maybe i should try empower spells, but it does occupy 4 higher spell level now doesn't it?

I love maximizing!! My 15th level mage I play multi slings some potent lightning bolts! I have a solo druid that just got maxxed call lightning! Ouch!!!!!!!!

i chose empowermnet. not that much difference though... ill try maximizing next time. [img]smile.gif[/img]

question: im a socerer, therefor i only have a limited amount of slots. i chose empower when i lvled up. does it take up a slot that is suppose to take a normal spell?

well : Combat Casting and Spell Penetration is a must.

Combat c : If you don't have this you really need somebody in front or you won't get many spells cast.

Spell p : Without this a lot of powerfull creatures just laughs of your spells.

As to the other feats - I normally don't use them as the spells that belong to a level generally is better that a 2 levels lower maximized spell etc.

nope, picking feats and picking spells are separate.
