If i just walk there because my Mconvert isnt working will there still be all the advatages of totsc?

If you can get there then your saves have already been through Mconvert, so yes.

OK well i cant get there by walking so how do I turn on my Mconvert. I thought it was supposed to ask me if i wanted to do it during installation but it never did.

Find the program MCONVERT.EXE in one of your BG1 folders (make a search from the BG1 main directory). Run it. This must be done without having your BG1 game running.

Next time you start the BG1 game, you should be able to see Ulgoth's Beard on your map.
