I was wondering what I'm supposed to do with the Imaskarran Tomes. I've got three of them now and they all talk about combining items. Can I do this (I haven't figured out how so I kinda think not) or do I need to go to a smith and have him do it for me. If the latter option were the one then I guess the tomes are just there for informational purposes. Is this the case?

The chick mage in Port Llast gives you a quest to find these books.
You walk through the portal near her to go to a few rooms and a chest that you put the items in but this still hasn't helped me cause I can't figure out how to use it [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Once you put the two items into the chest, cast the required spell on the chest.

For example, the fire recipe calls for a fire beetle stomach and a quartz crystal. Put them in the chest, close the chest. Cast fireball, from a spell, scroll or device and target the chest. Open the chest and you will find a Staff of Power.

Aha! So that's what the spell at the end of the sentence means :D
