I think there's a problem with my speaker configuration. The game doesn't run smoothly because occasional static sounds are poping out of the background music during the gameplay. I don't know how to configure my sound option cause i'm not very familiar with it.

I have a 4 speaker system that comes with a subwoofer (Altec Lansing)

Did anyone here ever got a smooth gameplay experience(graphics and sound)? Currently i chose Direct sound hardware support and selected 4 speakers under the sound option menu. Should i enable EAX? Or dolby surround sound? Also what does this bar means?
