I just hired Sharwyn the bard from the first town. I read somewhere that she can heal me also but how come I never see her heal me?

If you speak with her, and choose to "change tactics", one of the options will be how much damage you should take before she tries to heal you. Also, if she is using ranged weapons and you are melee it might take some time to get to you (healing spells are touch spells). I haven't played her much yet, so I'm not sure if she has a healing spell right away or if she has to reach a certain level before she tries to take one. I hope this might help...

Also, there is a command that you can issue (just like follow and attack nearest) that asks her to heal you. This is good when you are facing the high damage guys (i.e. once you hit that healing threshhold, you may not be able to hold out long enough for her to heal you).

that's strange, she still won't heal me. I only see her heal herself but not me.

Maybe she doesn't like you?

not sure if she can heal you but the cleric chick heals you.

She claims that she can heal you when you first talk to her. When I asked her to heal me, she said sorry. She burns all her spells so fast, she may not have any left. Sometimes, I'll hear her cast three spells and nothing happens. I don't know what she's doing. Also, I wish she could disarm traps, but all she does is open locks.

Actually her healing skills are poor at first... I managed to find a regeneration ring which helps me better then her spells ;)

If you want a trap disarmer AND lockpicker, you better team up with Tomi Undergallows, he's doing a great job at that so I found out.
