I assume it's possible, but I can't seem to find how to do it... anyone feel like telling me? Looked around the editor a bit but haven't noticed anything like that... also, how do you set creature damage if they're not using weapons?

Yo, I havent messed with giving monsters items myself, but the official Bioware NWN site has dedicated forums for the toolset, scripting, and modeling. I highly recomend checking it out. I have already cut and paste a dozen or so tutorials from the replies to questions posted there, some of which are answered by the game's programmers and designers.

Now, do you mean giving rewards to players from a NPC? Or do you mean giving items to NPC's or monsters that they will use when attacking?
If it's the former you can have the items given to characters as a gift using the conversation wizard...for a particular line of conversation you use the "Action Taken" tab and open the scripting wizard (little wizards hat) and click on the "Rewards Given" check box, very easy. For the second one you open the creature properties and click on the "Inventory" button under the character portrait, also easy. Hope that helps. |
