Just starting out with a level 1 fighter/mage.

1) Why can't I memorize more than 1 spell?
2) How do you set attack method for your group after pausing the game. The minute I unpause they all go into the "scripted" mode.

To answer question 1: If youre level one and dont have a specialist mage youll start out with only one spell. This will, of course, increase when you go up levels. Just refer to page 140 of your manual.

As for question 2 I dont know what you mean. Please elaborate slightly

As for your Qn. 2, try switching off the AI - the button is on the lower right side of the screen, just beside the 'Select All' button.

Re #2 - So I must turn off the AI button in order to give each party member individual commands when they attack during PAUSE?

New #3. How do I use the "Special Abilities" stuff which just appeared besides my Druid and my Fighter/Mage characters. I tried clicking on the spells but I dont really see anything activating.

Hmmm special abilities with your druid charm animal and with you cure light wounds. Right so far am I? Ok you have to pick a target for those when you click on them your cursor should change into a moon with a little point near it put the point over where who you want to recieve the spell effect and click.
