how do i kill roland? i have tried almost everything i can think of and still i keep dying. spoilers needed!!!!!!!

may be a little spoiler.
Well I can tell you how I did it. First I cleared the area around the tomb of all enemys. then I open the tomb and ran back. while from afar I just kept balsting him and his friends with poisin cloud. If he chased me I just ran back and repeated this until he died.

If you have the wall of fire spell - if you cast a few walls in a row rolland will walk through them and take much damage. He also spawns skeleton archers - so keep reflections on yourself.

If you insist on using a weapon - use a ranged weapon and run him around the graveyard staying just ahead of his sword. (Fire 4 or 5 arrows, turn and run back a ways, turn and fire some more, turn and run back a ways, ...).
