I just tried to install TOTSC. I have installed this at least twice before with no difficulty. However this time when I went to play, it said 'this version will only run in Canada and the United States!' (It even had the exclamation point just to goad me ;) ). I think it must have something to do with the fact that I now have winXP and the last time I installed it was on 98 since I can't think of anything else that may have changed since I last played it. What can I do?

Did you maybe accidentally download a patch for a different (maybe European version)? Or any mods? Other than that...

the (early ?) version of TOTSC sold in Australia was locked to only work with computers that had their regional settings set to "English (United States)"

If you change your regional settings it should work (not sure if you have to reboot XP for it to take effect)

Yeah no I tried that Kez, didn't work. It's okay though, I found a patch and it works now [img]smile.gif[/img] . Just hoping that when I finish chapter 6 it won't totally refuse to work like the last couple of times I've played it. I really want to finish it at least once! ;)
