Um. Hi.
*While wandering on Talrik's island, I found a Red Dragon which I swear wasn't there before. Is the a one-off thing like the Bloodstone Griffin near the stout mines, or just a really rare spawning monster? *Same question except with a fifth Amazoni Mantrap near the entrance to the boogre caves (it dissapeared on me and has not been seen since ...) *Can the flying Erathsmedor be killed? *Does the Grunaxe/Torin thing go anywhere? It there a quest or something related to this? [ 12-04-2005, 02:22 AM: Message edited by: Boogaloo ] |
Hello Boogaloo.
Welcome to the board. The red dragon is a random monster which will only spawn in the desert regions of Brimloch Roon. It is extremely rare. The Mantraps can also spawn randomly in the wilderness. The flying Erathsmedor cannot be killed. There are just some monsters in the game that cannot be killed if their presence are required later. The first and second quest in the Bushi Dojo of Ishad N'ha concern Torin and Grunaxe. [ 12-04-2005, 03:21 AM: Message edited by: bsftcs ] |
Hi and thanks! It's a warmer welcome than what one gets on IGN's Pokemon board, I must say . (yeah, W&W, Pokemon... I'm a tard, I know. :( ) And I know about the Dragon arrow and the what-happened-to-Grunaxe quest, but I mean, Torin thought that his father was slain by Erathsmedor, does he or Grunaxe give you a quest to clarify this or anything?

Unfortunately not. That would have been great, though.
I would have thought that one would have to save Erathsmedor by clarifying the Grunaxe issue. Perhaps that was originally intended. |
Welcome to the board, Boogaloo!!!
As is common - you've been well answered while I have been off painting! :D If you didn't know, W&W was rather rushed to market during its development so there are some elements in the game that would seem to cry out for more and have been left unfulfilled. We've all wanted to be able to go back to Torin and explain what has really happened but alas we can do so only in our imaginations. It's a great game even though some things ended up being left out!! We're here should you need any assistance! :D Wyv |
Welcome to the boards, Boogaloo! May your sword deliver swift justice (and swiftly save your tail!) in the Gael Serran
You've got good answers, and we are indeed friendly here. Even those of us who've been buried in the ditches of Germany without internet access for four days... ;) There is one more piece to the Grunaxe story, if you haven't heard it yet. It comes from Grunaxe himself... and there is also a quest for his true love, Prisk'iela. Hopefully you've taken care of that already as well. |
