so, i've reinstalled Wizards and Warriors on XP and its installed good. I've installed the bigger file instead of the smaller one, just because this time i MIGHT be able to see the key hole.

It comes up good, but when i click play, this thing tells me to buy ligos so i can play the game. If anyone has information on where to buy or install it for free, please tell. I bought this game for $9.95, and i want my money's worth!

I dont know what ligos is?
I dont think that you need it to play the game.
You will need to install 'virtual dub' to play on XP. It is available for free in tech tips.

I have no clue what you're running in to, Burnzey. A screenprint or something of the message you're getting would really help.

'Cause I have no idea what ligos is either... except a quick Google turns it up as some kind of MPEG encoder/decoder. So I'll follow along with Kev... have you done the virtualdub thing yet?

have done on 2000, but not on XP.

www.ligos.com it's easier to show. Then look for Indeo.

That's a codec. That means you need to either virtualdub the townmsk*.avi files or get the Ace Mega Codec pack that Willow found a while ago.

Start with the virtualdub thing and go from there.
