i found the best way to train your person is to go to shinwikki do the quest and wander over to the dragon and kill him. the more you kill him the less people yoou need until you have one which can kill him on his own. reset the game and keep doing this. also, you need to make your weapon 100% tough. an easier way to kill him without having to click your mouse over and over again is to lure him in the door to the dungeon, flick the switch and he will lose 6 hp everytime the door opens and closes but just stop when his hp is realy low and then you can finish him off to earn the exp.

As long as you get one hit in on a monster, you get XP when it dies. It doesn't have to be the last hit... just any hit will do.

And which dragon are you referring to? Erathsmedor? He's worth an ungodly amount of XP, to be sure, but he's not available as early in the game as you appear to be talking about.

Does Erathsmedor regenerate every time you switch "towns"??

- if he does, it might be faster to alternate between Erathsmedor (Ishad N'ha area) and Brimloch Roon than Shinwikki (Valeia) and Erathsmedor.

And what if one downs him during his flame throwing fits out in the wilderness? It might take a very long time - but can he be killed? And will he still regenerate in time for the encounter in the spire?

I don't think Burnzey Boi is referring to anyone regenerating during the game. He's talking about resetting adventures, if I read things correctly.

As for killing Erathsmedor in the Ishad N'ha wilderness, I have yet to find an attack that works on him...

nope nothing works on him, hes invincible out there and if you have an extreemly smart computor you could change that so he dies with one hit and you get unlimited exp points.
