I found a Diamond is there any special thing i can do with it?? Because i dont want to sell it yet. And the Keep at the Feldepost Inn Wants it for 500 but i think i should be able to sell it for 1000. Is 500 fare?

No, there is nothing special you will ever need a Diamond for. And 500 gp sounds about right for a Diamond, and gems & jewelry are always worth the same amount of money, everywhere.

On the other hand, keeping a chest full of thousands of gp worth of rare gems is pretty damn cool. :D

NO!!! Don't sell it!!! Keep it, and import your game to BG2. Cromwell will require it to make the Diamond Blade +6!!!!

I remember spending atleast a 1/3 of my gaming time, running around, over and over again, trying to get the desired gem from those silly random shrines, so that I could create the 'Super-Sword'.

Anyways, like the others said, there is no real 'use' for your diamond, other than to sell it, however, there might be a quest later on which calls for a diamond, (not sure?).

But on second thought, I'm probably mixing up IceWind Dale 2 with this game.
