last night i was playing good old wizards and wariors while fighting erathsmedor. for some strange reason after i killed him, my whole party died. is this a bug or is my computor too slow to pick up that ewrathsmedor is flogging me?

Hmmm... can't say as I've run into that. Wonder if he got one last lick in before he died, or perhaps the curse of the mavin finally came to be [img]smile.gif[/img]

In any case, trying again from a recent backup is your best bet. I don't recall anyone else running into this problem, so I don't think it's a bug.

But then again: Taken into consideration that your game did not even include the receptacle in the crypt, it is not unlikely that you may have other previously unknown bugs. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It used to happen to me with my low end PC. The virus checker would run as scheduled & W&W would run so slow that my party would get totalled by whatever I was fighting. I would never even see how they died.

ive figured a better way to kill erathsmedor though. you know the room that has the lever in it? get erathsmedor halfway through the door and click the switch. now erathsmedor will get like 8 crush damage every half second, leaving you able to have a gacuuzee and a hot cuppa! but you dont get the experiance if you crush him all to death, leave some for the last remaining hand to hand combat.

Hmmm.... I haven't tried that trick. You may not need to finish him off... generally, you get the XP if you've inflicted some damage. So be sure to hit him with something, and let the door finish the work [img]smile.gif[/img]
