Starting on Friday, me and my friend "Black Hawk" (already registered here) finished the game on Wednesday, 01.00h german time.

It took us 72 hours, fulfilling ALL guild quests and visiting EVERY possible location.

Here is, what we learned of the game this time: (PATCHED version)

1. Ginni of the lamp does not raises attributes over 24 (only Idol of Bongu with 1 over 24 in fortitude)

2. Elven char finished with 250.000 more XP than ussual char (the elf has 2.850.000 XP at the end), and with some spents on strength he is able to carry items well --> Elf = good char.

3. Issue "2nd weapon": only skill that counts here is the 2nd-weapon-skill, it does not count if it is a dagger or a sword (Primary weapon-skill like sword/dagger/mace etc. is ONLY for the right-hand-weapon)

4. Changing roles too often makes the game too easy. At the end we just "walked" through the lines of enemies, even if there were minions or temple guardians.

5. Treasure is REALLY random ;)

6. For high hitpoints fortitude is not so important as we thought...what counts is a) CLASS (Zenmaster,Baba,Warrior) and b) the race (highest hitpoints for the Omphaaz)

7. Beware of the Kerah-Shrine-Elevator, sometimes it stuck ;)

8. Do not kill Bloddbeard before taking the quest from the Dojo.

9. If Torin or Talrik did not accept the job-items, his inventory IS full.

10. A Zenmaster really kicks ass :D

Finally, a list of cool items found in the game:

a) Kimono of the dragon (AC 4.80, all resi 35%, found: Cets Pyramid))
b) Sword of Hearts (7-18 base Dam, Death Strike, 1hand, found: Cets Pyramid)
c) Eye of Heaven (Amulet, AC +5, all resis 35%, found: Cets Pyramid)
d) Trident of Tides (Pole, 7-xx base Dam, found: Collasium)

..and the Omphaaz Samurai Armour...LOL...

...ok, really last facts, some stats:

- Killed 2987 enemies (Zenmaster: 844 WITHOUT casting spells)
- found 353 shurikens
- spent 35 hours to plan and create the party
- consumed 20l coffee and 10l beer ;)
- raised the room temperature without radiator up to 25 degrees

Ok, that`s it !!

Great game, much fun, cool story - i don`t give a dam about the "old graphic engine"...this game is simply GREAT !!

Thx for reading ;)

GreetZ from SARGE, LOKI, KAZUMOTO, SPYRIDON, GOTHMOG and SORLAG !

I didn't know this,(A) how many job related items they'll receive before they stop accepting them? (B) If their inventory are full, will their inventory become empty again so that you can continue giving them the job related items? (C) If B if yes, when will their inventory become empty again?

Anyway, congrats for beating the game.

Torin accepts 3 arrows, then i have to buy some items from him so he accepts the other 3 arrows. Talrik accepts all 6 hooks without problems.

This is because sometimes they offer a lot for trade and othertimes they only had a potion in inventory.
But the quest is NEVER stuck or something, they ALWAYS will accept the items...

Thx ;)

Congrats on your run through of the game... I would give you the smilie doing the wave... but I don't know how... so settle for a round of Boogre Brew?

Bungleau 09-28-2004 10:48 PM

Several characters can run out of inventory space, including Torin, Jathil, Kerielle, and Talrik. When that happens, you can either buy something from them or steal something from them. If you do buy something, buy the biggest things you can. For example, if Talrik's inventory is full, buy back a longtooth hide instead of a hook.

Oh, and So So... to make a , just enter : happywave : in your post and remove the spaces around the word.

And Boogre Brew is still accepted, I'm sure...
