I´ve decided to replay W&W with different party but just in the beggining of the game I´ve found wierd and very annoying error. I can´t go through gate directly to the cemetery, because it´s not active. I also can´t visit town hall because of the same problem. May be that´s because I´m playing on Win XP but I´ve tried compatibility mode and no changes. Please help me someone.

Welcome to the board, Valian!

Check out the Tech Tips thread more closely: the problems with leaving towns & entering buildings are fixed with virtualdub, by changing the format of the town AVI files.

Good Luck!

Welcome to the boards, Valian! May your sword swiftly and surely cleave your foes!

I'm not at that problem yet with my installation on XP, but be sure to read all the bits on Tech Tips related to Win2k and XP... you'll need them.

Welcome to the board, Valian. Sounds like you have a common problem related to WIndows. I hope the Best Tips thread will help you sort it out.

Thanks guys, I succesfully solve the trouble and played until I wanted to leave town of Ishad Na via western gate to go to Shurugon Castle. Once I click on the gate, the game starts loading and always crash with this message "The instruction at 0044cda1 referenced memory at 00000088. The memory could not be read from". I´v already consulted with tech tips, but there´s only hint to run the game with compatibility mode under win 95, which I already did. I´v alo tried to reinstall but no luck. Any smart suggestions? Thanks.

You're welcome, Valian!

See the responses in your other thread about this crash. Have you done the virtualdub thing to decompress all your video files? Have you also gotten the Ace Mega Codec pack? I had to do both in my installation...

It sounds to me, Valian, like an errant pointer trying to read outside of its memory segment. I've seen this in corrupted save files, but never straight after a town like this.

Are you running as an Administrator, or at least a wheel user? WinXP can be funny about letting regular users allocate & access dynamic memory.
