Does anyone know how spell advancement in old classes work?
I have one Cleric that started learning Vine Magic, when i changed her to Paladin i switched to spirit magic, although i didnt learn any vine-spells past 5th level. Will she be able to learn the missing vine spells sooner or later, or never? |
Welcome to the board, Lord_Gabriel. Nice to have you with us.
Only spirit magic is native magic realm for a paladin. Spells in all other spellrealms can only be learned if 1) your character had started learning spells of that realm before switching to paladin, and 2) has the DOUBLE skill required in that realm. That means that your paladin can only learn more level 5 vine spells with level 10 vine magic skill. Level 6 spells can only be learned with level 12 skill, and level 7 spells can only be learned with level 14 skill. You can, however, always change your role to one which can take vine spells (rangers, warlocks, zenmasters). |
