i have killed ellisa but when i returned to the point she died at i was unable to find the masque of evil,
(with spirit eye and illuminate cast) is it possible to hack the masque of evil from another game.

Wyvern made a post a very long time ago on how to hack these items. Unfortunately it was never made sticky or added to the best tips.

Did you look closely? Maybe it's on the table next to her?

I've still GOT the Mask of Evil (left it at the Inn with one of my mule characters) EVEN after finishing Sturugeon Castle. I think Haleabus dropped it or I picked it off of him in Steal mode after he put it on but just before he disappeared (I can't remember now). The screen & the narrator still went through the dialogue of his "Death by Mask". So I don't think he's still there. I have to check though to make sure. Does someone know whether or not it IS part of his drop when he goes or what??

No, Haleabus usually only drops an Ankh, a spellbook, and a potion or two... cool [img]smile.gif[/img]

Using the mask on Haleabus (or giving it to him) will result in the disappearance of the mask. Haleabus will then become mortal.

Sometimes he drops his cursed Devil's Axe. I remember equipping it the first and only time that I found it, and it cost 64,000 gold to unequip it IIRC.

Hey,now ... Bob the One-eyed Dwarven Assassin swears by that axe ... you try taking it away from him. He's still waiting for that dang dragon to come breathe on him again.

but how would i get the hex code for the masque of evil i do not have a save game where i do have it could some one post it???
