One more update, just for good times...

Felix, I owe you one. The Den, having slain two of the salads, went wandering around looking for the remaining two. They found one of them near Torin (where they had last been left), and with everyone armed with bows and Takekatsu arrows, they began their attack.

Many minutes and arrows later, I am forced to acknowledge that they can't hit the broad side of a barn. If they hit one shot out of ten, that's doing pretty good.

Did I say one of them? Well, they found both of them, along with the leftover swamp mucks. They finished off one of the two salads from a distance, but it got really boring, so...

they saved early (and before [img]smile.gif[/img] ), and decided to run into to skirmish with the salad.

Big mistake. Running in, inhaling their foul breath... two of the six died right there on the spot, and the rest weren't in good shape either.

Ran back to a safe distance (wondering whether they'd follow or not), and interestingly, they didn't. Healed and resurrected everyone. Knew we bought those scrolls for a reason.

Fired a few more arrows, then ran in for another skirmish. This time, Miss Piggy had three HealRealm scrolls in her front pocket, and we used two of 'em. With the swamp mucks spitting gas in the background (like they do any damage [img]smile.gif[/img] ), the Den finally slew the last of the standard salads.

Life. Is. Good.

Finished up the Jathil quest and the werewolf quest, and are heading back into Shurugeon Castle to get the last element, take care of Haleabus, and move on to the stout mines.

We started after the last three salads with 650 Takekatsu arrows and bought another 150 after killing the first of them. That's 800 arrows, if you're counting.

Sold 360 back to Master Wu. Honest, boss, I have no idea where they went. Good thing we had that many. And that we gave up on the arrows as well.
