ok i started a new game, played through normally got to the crypt started talking to nivius and i say i wanna take the oath and all so he does his defend the rightus stuff except when he got to the second paragraph he asked be if i wanted to take the (again) so i said yes and every second paragraph he started his speach over, i eventualy got the ring from him and went on. weird bug, anyone else noticed this?


ok now what about the first quest in the wizard guild, were is that guy? because i wanna kill oh and btw i hope he isnt the serpent guy in the robe (i am pretty that dude is grue mordan (i kill him right when i leave town))

last of all this may sound like a dumb question, but how do you qoute people?

Well if you answer yes to his question the first time he will start to ramble about how foolish you are. Then repeat himself and finally ask you again. Is that what you meant?

The first quest from the wizards guild....is to find Scabban. He's in the crypt. If you killed him, before you got the quest....then 'Kill Tevik Teporn'...becomes the first quest. And as Willow, has said...he's between the oracles cave and Ishad N'hahaha. Just turn Hard right....when you make landfall. He's in the back of the small clearing.

yup, and if i remember correctly, tevic teporn will attack u right away once he sees u wif spells and he WILL summon monsters to aid him like spiders and such, so be prepared!

An NPC in the wildernesses and in dungeons will not start his or her speech again when selecting another party member in the middle of the speech like NPCs in towns will. However if one starts to say too many things at once the NPC might start two sentences at the same time. This occurs every time one has said something in the middle of the NPC's asking a question. One does not really get to speak with Nivius rather than answer his questions, but if you have said a word to him in the middle of his sentence then this is what you might have experienced. If not and if the problem you encountered was not the one Willow IX talked about either I think you may have discovered a heretofore unknown bug. [img]graemlins/thewave.gif[/img]
