You know I just completed the Boogre dungeon, and I converted my characters back...

But you know being a boogre is actually pretty good. As far as I know the only side effect is your spells failing?

I kept an old save in case I wanted to keep a couple of boogre characters. Seems like if you want a tank character to fight you should make a boogre.

And for that matter, what is good about being a vampire? Seems to suck. I experimented with the vampire thing and decided the just kill the vampire.

1. Boogres are extremely S L O W . . ..
2. Spells cast by boogres fail. In my observations, level 7 spells fail with about 40% probability. Level 6 spells fail less often but they fail as well. Level 5 spells fail only exceptionally. Level 1 - 4 spells (almost) do not fail.

If you feel that you can buy it and gain the additional 100 HP then remain boogre. If you find it unbearable - like me - then de-boogre ASAP.

Well where can i test to see if boogres are slow?

I guess when all my guys were boogres I had nothing to compare it to. Is there a stat to look up boogre slowness?

As far as spells, well are all 6 of your guys going to cast spells? If you have one thats not maybe they should be a boogre was all I was thinking.

Actually I donīt think you need to test it. You notice it right away. Did you notice that you canīt attack as often as you used to be able to while being a boogre. Itīs about 1 attack for a boogre while the rest of your party manages 5 or 6.

That siad, there is nothing wrong with being a boogre! Absolutely nothing wrong what so ever. Does not the Serran Holy Script say "The boogres shall inherit the Serran" as well as "Duuuuh, 5 shiny thingies is more than duuuuh 7". ;) LOL!

1. As far as the speed is concerned, your speed stat drops by 10. But this decrease must be only a part of the penalty. The boogres are much slower, as Willow has noted. You will see in the Boogre Prison.
2. Do not mix boogres and non-boogres in the same party because of the game logic. Once you attack, the monsters can attack. If you have both boogres and non-boogres in the party, the boogres will recover all the time and the non-boogres will have to do all the work.
3. The spells. Yes, they are. I am always playing a solo character

Can you stop the bloodlust on vampires, or at least heal them? My character just keeps dieing :( . I don't have any saves before he got turned into one so I just created a new one at Valeia :'(.

Healing speels will not work on vampires. They need to feed on blood which returns their hipoints. The toughen spell works though. ;)

If you really want to get rid of the trait you can do so with the editor. Iīll find a link for you. Ah here it is.

yupz, the downside is that u need to "bite" LIVING victims (monsters that bleed red blood when u hit them) in order to regain hp, how much hp is regained per bite i do not know, juz taht u haf to be REAL close to the monster before u can bite it.....
the upside is that u haf gained a special ability called "Vampire Breath" i tink, which can be accessed by ur "dragon fire" icon on the left side of the screen (sorry i forgot wat it was actually called...).......

*cough* coward *cough* :D

Just a point on your 2. Having a boogre in an otherwise non-boogre party is not all that bad. Usually they on ly get two attacks per monster. BUT the second attack usually is the last one. ;) I had a party with one boogre and two elves. The death toll:

Elf 1) Around 150 kills
Elf 2) About 200 kills
Boogre) Somewhere around 650 kills IIRC. :D

A Booger is good to be used with a warrior class like a Barbarian, a Booger can be a mean fighting machine. I once regreted turning everyone in my party back and it would have been good to have a barbarian booger.
