Wiping out EVERY bandits in the bandit camp when ur lvl 4 (the reason I rush so much more than I usually do is simple - I want Coran fast!). Cheers.

If you can do that, why not?

Yep try it.

What's risky about it, anyway? It just seems tedious and a waste of arrows if you ask me. Go and hunt ankhegs or bassilisks instead

All depends on the gear you're packin'.

D*Ranged, what gear do you have?

If you're in a hurry to get to Coran, the Bandit Camp can be difficult (because you're low-level).....or extremely easy. In one of my speed games, my PC was still Level 1 (Fighter) upon entering, and Level 3 when we left, 'cause we killed everybody. In another, we only killed one person--nobody else on the entire map was even hostile to us! (Although Garclax and his boys would have been, had we gone in there.) On to Chapter 4, after killing only one Bandit!

(And yes, if you don't kill 'em now, they'll still be there when you come back.)
