Does anybody know when the idol gives you a trait? Any trait. I am confronted again and again with the decision on giving me the useless +1 to Fortitude and nothing else. Twenty restarts of the game result in twenty +1 to Fortitude. Why? The idol can give you many more useful things. Has anybody investigated the thing? Does anybody know what has to be done before approaching the idol if I want some useful reward and not the useless +1 to Fortitude?

Has your character ever been a barbarian? Missy, who was a barbarian shortly after she could walk, got the GiantStrike trait first time she went to the idol, even though she'd been at least four classes since then.

Otherwise, I don't know... I haven't heard of anyone testing out this area.

I played W&W once trought and don't recall Idol of Bongu... :(
Could you be so kind ( well more kind as you are allready [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and post some information, where to find that mystical Idol.

Only Idol I know is Idol of Aku in Boogre Prison and of cource that totem in Toad Village's Toadem ground...

I don't think the problem is related to a role or role history. I was there as a barbarian, warlock, zenmaster, assassin, samurai and a paladin. Almost in all cases, I was a "pure role" after Reset Adventures. Sometimes, I got Giant Strike, sometimes Berserk, sometimes Tiger Strike but more often than I would like I got only +1 to Fortitude.
In the cases when I was able to get a trait, the idol changed its reward after game reloads. For example, I got +1 to Fortitude twice and then I got Giant Strike. In the "bad" cases, the idol insisted on +1 to Fortitude and even 20 game reloads weren't able to change its mind.
