Hi again all,
Am I the most useless rpg user you have ever come across? (blush).
I have trailed the forest for hours and do not seem to encounter anyone who gives me the pass to allow me into the stout mines, am I looking in the wrong place, could you give me a hint or tell me exactly where to find please.

No worries Tattotee; I can assure you we all had difficulties with this game. ;) You are not given the pass you need to loot it from a dead body ,more specifically a dead stout. He´s in a glade north of the stout mines. For a spoiler, look for the letter F here.

And there's a second way you can get in if you've been through the Boogre Caves... offer Signore Pastolio a cask of boogre brew, and he'll find the writ you *ahem* carelessly dropped on the floor.
