i know that people have posted topics concerning the weapons that do the most damage, but i want to know what you people think are your favorite weapons in the game and why...

My personal favorite is the "legendary" Kroakenden (sp?) [the hammer you get when you kill the "king" of of the Stouts]...i like it because when you throw it at someone [and if it hits], it returns to you like the hammer of Thor in Viking lore...

So what are you favorite killing devices?

I like Stout King's hammer too, but what I don't like is bows!
Usually I love ranged weapons, but in W&W they are too uneffective!

I like Shuriken's best! When you modify them and throw... Just love to see it stuck on dragons eye...

There's an old thread about this, some many moons back, but I'm not motivated enough to go look for it.

Suffice it to say that a nicely blessed nightblade or wizard's blade is one of my favorite right-hand weapons, and a heavily blessed Main Gauche +2 rounds out the mix. I don't worry about distance weapons, because most things don't attack from a real distance, and I can usually run up to them before their second attack.

1. The most terrible devices are (fourteen times blessed for damage) Wizard's Blade and Assassin's Dagger. Cast Frenzy on your hero. The game becomes a massacre. A single hit with the Wizard's Blade is usually enough. You will need Assassin's Dagger only seldom.
2. Ranged weapons. I think that spells are the best ranged weapons.
