Hey everyone
I've come across an odd problem in the stout mines. Maybe I am just missing something, but I have read through a few walkthroughs but I still don't know why I can't deposit the scroll you pick off the dead dwarf to get access to the mines. I try to deposit the scroll into the little depository, and it says something is needed or the scroll didn't do anything. I even went back to town and identified it but it still doesn't accept the scroll. I figured I just missed a step somewhere. Help! Any ideads of what could be wrong? Thanks, your help is apprecaited.

Usually when the text reads...'something is needed'...it means you tried to 'Give' something....that you should 'Use'.

If you've already tried that...the only thing I can suggest is...do the 'Booger Prison' first.... [img]graemlins/blueblink.gif[/img] ... If you bring back a Booger Brew, for 'Signeur Pastollio'....He'll let you in.

Welcome to the board, Duckie!!!

The USE/GIVE window has confused a number of players. Near the bottom you can choose "give" specifically and that should solve your problem!

Keep us posted on how you are doing!

Thanks guys everyone is so friendly LOL. Ive tried both use and give and alternated the scroll through all of my group members, I haven't had any luck either =(. I'll try again and if it still doesn't work I guess I'll be heading for the Boogre Prison lol. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks again.

One note...

If you do ...use the Brew...Give it to..
..Signeur P...Directly.

By that I mean don't use the drawer at all.

Save when you walk in....just in case ... :D

Now that I think about it....After you save...walk back out and 'drop' the other writ...Multiple writs have caused some people to crash.... [img]graemlins/blueblink.gif[/img]
after you give him the Brew...Signeur P...Give you a wink and *ahem* finds the writ, you drop behind the counter....So he gives it back.

Gday Duckie welcome to the forum,
Just a tip about the boogre brew. When you buy it use a charactor that only has 5 shiny thingies (gold) because the bartender cant count. It cost me 5000000g in my second game to find out.
