whenever i try to tree surf my characters always tend to get stuck in the trees and i have to rotate around and jump to get un-stuck this happens every 2 seconds, so how do you tree surf efficently? i did try going on the edges of the map and found myself not getting stuck right away.

KAR_MOD1,

Just keep your finger on the forward key, and eventually you'll go.

I fell into the trap of thinking I could control my motion when I was tree-surfing. I'd try to speed up or slow down, depending on where I was, and try to turn slightly to get a better grip on the leaves.

Unfortunately, that really doesn't work. What works best is to treat it like surfing, where you point yourself in a direction and just go. It may seem like you're stuck, but if you keep going, eventually your feet (or paws) will catch on to something and you'll take off again.

I find that looking slightly up & pushing the jump & run buttons at the same time allows me to bound over the trees. You might look like your stuck but as Bungleau says you keep your finger on the forward key & just keep going. It's a bit like running in mud, when you stop you sink & it's hard to get going again.
