'Restore Health' cures insanity....as for the other porblem...well have to see what we can find. The up side is..you only need to carry the ornate obolisks. (to bring Anephas, back to life) The game will play out the same..even if you can't do it.

When I do a 'Fast Track Game', I skip the Shrine....But Anephas Still shows up in the end game.

That's a Windows XP problem. Had the same dang problem recently. You need to set the game to run in either 95 or 98 compatable mode. Go into the directory where the game is. Find the exe file, it's called deep6 for some reason. Right click on it and select properties. Go to the compatability tab and set the game to run in one of the compatability modes. 98 mode seems to work best on my computer but I can carry objects in either 95 or 98 mode. On the down side, this will make the NPCs no longer speak, and their speech text scroll by really fast.

not only does restore health cure insanity, but exorcism also cures insanity. i tink there's the exorcism scroll too........ ;)

Tater has got the fix right, but you need to right-click your shortcut not the exe file ;) ! If you donŽt have a shortcut (in start menu or on desktop) create one, linking to the 'deep6.exe" file!

Exorcism scrolls are available at most of the finer temples in the Gael Serran. I recommend at least one for each character, since someone who is insane can't cure themself...

I never created a shortcut. Right-clicking on the actual exe file worked for me.

System differences maybe?

LiOnHe@rT 08-30-2002 10:27 AM

actually, i dun tink that creating a shortcut has anything to do with crashes in the game or watsoever. but still, i may be wrong as i myself dun know much about computer settings!!! lolz :D :D :D

No Lionhe@rt the shortcut or the exe file for that matter has nothing to do with the game crashes. But you must tell the computer to run the game with compatibility with an older OS. Still IŽd recommend doing it on the shortcut instead of the actual start file... But since taterŽs way works too you can use that as well...

whoops! sorry coz i'm not very good at computer settings hehheh !!!!!
