What's the matter with that guy ? He hates me, or what else ? I can't manage to talk to this Leprechaun : I suppose I have to do, since he can't be attacked ... BUT HOW ?? (yes, yes, I know : he's too quick for me...)
Well .. I confess .. I've tried to beat him (I'm ashamed), but he dropped on me with a lot of spells : my God, all my fighters were fool, or feared, or so... and now, if I can't catch him and if I can't beat him (and I can't steal him nore), so what (except crying) ? |
Hi Morgain, I'm glqd to see you've made it to Brimloch Roon... http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...cons/icon7.gif
....You don't have to catch the Leprechaun....or kill him either. His treasure (the 'Stone of Clover') is in a chest, near Kerahs underwater shrine. You'll find it later in the game. .. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon12.gif ...When you talk to Kerah, ( in Anephas' Shrine ) just try to rememeber to swim up and look for it... |
My leprechaun is running around with about 8 bone arrows in him. He has lost some hitpoints but I think that you would have to put over a 100 in him & thats not as easy as finding his pot of gold later.
|
I have done it...But my characters had been through the game 3 or 4 times, so they were very fast and could really pack a punch.
You have to run into him and push him ahead of you, while you hit him...I had to do this 2 or 3 times, to finish him off. Even if you do kill him....He doesn't drop the 'Stone'. ( It still shows up in the chest. ) |
When I meet him he´s still as a post and says a few words. Then he just vanishes without even a goodbye. So keep chasing him and teach him some manners!! :D
|
First game I played I thought you had to do the Leprechaun in to fulfill the quest so I chased him around and around and eventually did him in. Of course, then I found out that his death wasn't the proof and I restored my game but, given how annoying he is, I have to wonder why! ;)

Yes he is one of the most annoying guy in the game lol i think run after him for a day or so before i understand that this guy is not any thing to kill easly!!

Ah, part of the life in the gaming world...
Questor: Go bring me proof of this leprechaun's existence! Party: Will do! (*long battle, many vanishes and curses, topped off with a dead leprechaun and lucky staff, which is now topped off with a dead leprechaun *) Party: Here ya go. One leprechaun's head, on a stick. Questor (squinting): Hmmmm... naw, that can't be. Them leprechauns ain't supposed to be so tall. Besides, you probably doctored up that head... stuck elven ears on a gnome or something. Come back when you have *real* proof! Party (grumbling): Real proof? There's nothing left! He dissolved into the sands along the Enchanted Sea! *mutter* there's still room on this stick for another head.... *mutter* Gruhnt, look up the number to Ironworks. We've gotta figure this one out, and Short Stuff isn't going to be much help. Wonder if Wyvern's in????? |
I ignored him after he vanished and finally found him later when visiting Isis. Just keep going and ignore him. After you visit Isis's room walk up into the water and out and you will find him.

The Leprechaun is a vicious bastard, and I'm glad he's dead! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
