I keep drowning in the lower area of the dungeon right at the start of the dungeon. I can see the passage but I can't get out of the water.

Yes, that area can be a bit of a sticky wicket and has cause many players problems.

Try choosing your smallest character to lead your party and wiggle around as you go. IF you still cannot get through - well, you really don't have to. What is at the end of that passageway is the snake idol which will give you access to the Book of Servants in the library. This book has the replies you will need in the ritual BUT they're posted in the BEST TIPS thread! :D

I've tried leading with my gnome thief but that didn't work. I'll go get the phrases just in case I can't get thru.

By the way how hard would it be for me to hack a potion for Mekdawa into my inventory. I got that quest for my paladin but when I gave him the potion and went back to the temple Onabe didn't acknowledge it.

(You might be able to get to level 7, If you try clicking on another character and then back again six or seven times.)

One other thing we all forgot to mention...When you go in to cash in a quest..Make sure you just walk in and let the shop owner do the talking. If you click on anything, he gets distracted.

Sometimes walking backwards allows me to get into the space, but then again, sometimes it doesn't. As was said earlier, you don't really need anything there.

About ascending in the priest guild. After completing the Jathil quest in Ishad N´ha I got experience and gained a level everytime my character entered. You can always try that, lol... All my guys were level 7 members before getting to Brimloch Roon, lol!!
