I remember reading somewhere on this board to keep the ruby gems...I think because it had to do with the evil eye(oooooooh)he he....I was wondering if anyone out there could refresh my memory on this topic.

You need the evil eye to be able to reach the idol Aku so you can be turned back to normal.

But red gems?? That just isn't bringing up anything to me at the moment.

No, all gems found can be sold. The only item you want to keep is the "eye of the colanth" in Dragonspire which is a magic shop quest..

Ok I had finished both boogres prison and dragon spire......completed the quest for the eye of colanth, all members of my crew have the evil eye trait.

I am sorry but as I said it has been awhile since I have heard of it. I will try and look into it......

Seems to me the use of other-colored gems for anything was a bit of urban legend that died off a few months ago. I remember it with orange gems for some reason.

They're good for naught but selling.
