Since I post so frequently I have choosen a few favorite smileys that I use.

Most often I use the smiling face with the shades on - why? Because I'm sensitive to light, more so since I had cataract surgery last summer. I will use others depending on the thread and the post but "Shades" is my most frequently used smiley.
One I will never use - the red angry face - nope! Never!

Do you find yourself using one of the smileys more than any other? Which one?

As for your favorites Wyv, we all know that it's the smileless smileys: Red, Green and Purple (Red being your obvious favorite [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] )

Due to my sarcastic sense of humour I tend to use :D a lot so ppl dont get the wrong idea about what I'm saying.
My least liked one would have to be [img]graemlins/hippysmile.gif[/img] I never could relate to hippies.......head in clouds, terrible dress sense, "groovy man", "peace baby", "coooolllllll it baby, dont freak out", "gota joint man?", that sorta stuff...yuk!!!............still,,,, I kinda like Austen Powers :D

I actually don't use the smileys, so the default one is my favorite. Just not enough time to think about putting the appropriate ones in, I guess.

Hmmmm... maybe I should try to do more social things...

I prob'ly use the plain ol' smiley most 'cause I'm a generally happy guy!

Like knip, I use the grin to show I'm goofing off, and not being insulting. Something I learned by experience, unfortunately.

And I use the sad face when I'm bummed out about something.

I don't like aggressive behavior in general, and I don't like to offend people, so I purposely avoid the aggressive ones.

The rest I ignore because I can't relate well to them and/or don't want to be bothered.

OK Wyv. I use :D and [img]tongue.gif[/img] alot just because the :D is what I actually use to make people think that I am up to something just to get a reaction....it is fun and cheesy kinda reminds me of a cartoon.

I am an easy going person so those two smilies I over usee but in a way I think it lightens the mood.
