Can anyone help with finding the pickaxe in the Stout Mines. I think I've been everywhere, killed the mad miner but still no axe. I killed one stout miner for his axe, got the ore, gave it to the king but he ordered the gaurds to attack me. HELP!!!

Welcome to the board, Ted!!!

I think I found a pickaxe just lying on the ground - probably around the same area where you find the missing parts of the other trolley. You don't want to kill one of the miners for a pickaxe! ;) Some areas are pretty dark so either cast some light or use Spirit Eye when you search, that should help you spot items more easily.

Hope you find one soon!!!

You can also TALK to a Miner and TRADE him for a pick axe.

You can also try going down into the mines and killing some of the Insane Miners. Be careful: their Miner's Bombs are rather powerful. Sometimes, they will drop a pickaxe.

Thanks Kil'jaeden, koolaidfreeservecouk & Wyv,
I have found a pickaxe, I was searching other areas of the mine and lo and behold, an axe, I was lost actually and found one, then came across the insane miners and recieved 2 or 3 more. Usually the way though, you need one of something then you get lots.

Thanks again.

Lost. Yep, that's the way I usually get around the Stout Mines. 'Cepting, you see, since I'm a guy, I'm never actually lost. I always know exactly where I am.

Now, how to get to where I want to be from here, that's a different story. But I'm not lost!

Thank DW for the mapping flags, is all I can say.
