Ok,I have just installed TotSC and BG1,now it was all good
exept for when I load (from any screen)it quits to windows
ANY help what so ever in the wholw big world please help!!!!!!!!!

The first answer would always be:

Have you installed the latest patch? Not that it will solve all problems of any kind, but you might have a problem already solved by the patch.

2 years ago when I bought a GeForce2 video card, I happened to notice the first entry in the trouble shooting FAQ. From memory it went something like this:

"Q: I am having trouble getting my card to work on Windows ME"
"A: Get a different operating system"

exactly what do you mean by 'load from any screen' ??

do you mean loading a saved game or starting a new game? or what ?

if it's trouble loading a saved game... try starting a new game and see how you go. if that works, it's probably your saved game has been corrupted. if it doesnt work, I dont know but try a re-install. also check the BG readme file to see if you have any hardware listed as trouble for the game, install the patches etc.... hopefully there is something you can do to fix it, but really... I was only partly joking in my last post.
