Wizards & Warriors just hit store shelves here in the USA, (Sept 27th)

Our Support site will be opened with full support for hints, tips, maps, cheats and more soon, in the mean time,
if you need help, post here! I spoke with D.W. Bradley, and he said he'd drop by this forum and check it out, helping with some stuff! (Cool stuff!)

Cool, looking forward to the game. Now, has it been released everywhere? I reserved my copy at Babbages (im in No. Cal), so I should get it today, I called yesterday and they said it was not on the shelves yet (grrrrrrrrrr!)

I was wondering, and I hope this isn't a dumb question, but why did D.W. Bradley leave the Wiz 8 team? I've since forgotten about that series, it looks like the man with the magic has his talent elsewhere.

Very much looking forward to it!

Maybe we should have different forums one for general discussion and one for cheats, tips and spoilers.
so we don't have see the spoilers if we don't want to

I'm p.o.'ed cause I just bought a new game last weekend and still need to finish another. I'm determined to finish them up so's I can clean up my drive and install this one. Anxiously awaiting and will be monitoring the boards. From what I'm reading I'm liking it already. I had become burnt out on the infinity engine and did not get BG2. I'm glad now.

I highly recommend you play BG2... even if you need to take a break from the Infinity engine for 6 months. It is a very good game.

We were discussing 'The History of Ironworks', and I was looking through all the VERY old posts and found this one in the W&W Archives (I copied it over here for you guys to see) This is the first welcome message, it was posted here on Sept 27th 2000! Wow!

All the posts since then are SO awesome.. it's like a 40,000 page hintbook!! :D

Just thought some of you would like to see this--if you want to see more VERY old posts. Go to the W&W Archives forum, and set the 'view posts from' to 'Show all posts' and click on the highest number to see the first posts here.. Waaaaaaay back when the forum was Ultraboard, and was Blue!

My, how things have changed!!

One thing that hasn't changed is that this is a great board!! We've got the best posters on the web!!

Kudos to all who have contributed and enjoyed!!

Not just the best posters. Also the best Mods. Thanks Wyv and Xignal. Also, thanks Dan for giving us the opportunity to help others who are stuck playing this very cool game!

AHHHHHHHHHHH, I forgot Saz. How can I forget Saz???!?! Well, thank you Saz (though we don't see you around much more :( )

Thanks, Ziroc! That is pretty cool. And a tip o' the hat to all those who've helped me through my first pass through the Gael Serran. I've also enjoyed MANY laughs along the way with some really great posts from so many fellow adventurers... and then there's the Gael Serran Examiner!! I came in just before the 25th Silver Anniverary issue, and I spent all night reading back issues until I was testing my keyboard for drool resistance! Lots of laughs! Thank you all again!
