I tried to talk to Ardibren after killing 2 imps and a ghost but i got no response. so i went farther ahead and got a doll. came back and had him follow me around back to his room and out the door where you find him and was attacked by lots of creatures. then he disappeared ?? before i took him there i tried giving him his book and no go then i tried the doll and he took it. is there anyway to get it back ????

Are you talking about a voodoo doll, or Ardibren's Relic? You need the Relic for a quest for the Wizard's guild I think. You're supposed to meet Ardibren outside the Castle right before he.... well, I won't spoil that part, but check your journal notes for Ardibren to see what he said to you. You may have missed something.

If you have any previous saves, you could redo that part of the game, or...

If you gave him his Relic back, it may be gone for good, unless you can cast a Charm spell on someone here to hack the Relic back into your inventory. ;)

Are you sure you're talking about Ardibren? He doesn't follow you around, well at least he never followed me around. You meet him at the base of some curving stairs in the castle. After helping you defeat some monsters, he'll talk to you and tells you to meet him outside, south of the castle. You don't need to give him anything so I'm a bit confused about his taking something. He certainly would not take the relic as that is a quest item for town.

If you can, I'd recommend you reload this area and try it again. Something doesn't seem quite right here.

i reseted to last quest. and it didnt reset his room with the other evil thing so i tried to kill him but he blocks every thing :( and magic doesnt work :( thanxs for the help i reseted the entire game with the patch not liking it. And also i got 3 of characters barbarian,ninja and samurai the sword of magus quest and it works for all 3 [img]smile.gif[/img] dont have to switch swords to next guy to get credit. so thats the only positive thing ive seen come out of the patch. Onward to next dungeon [img]smile.gif[/img]
