It runs very fast. Whenever I approach him in close distance, it disappears. Can't close combat. Can't be hurt by most spells. How to kill it?

More, what does it mean by his spell "vanish"? It seems I do not loss anything by catching his spell.

Thanks for idea.

You can't kill him just yet, there is a special place that you get to farther into the game. Don't remember if you can kill him then, but you do get his treasure.

His vanish spell is just a sort of teleport spell, think it is mentioned in the manuall IIRC. The spell won't hurt you at all.

Hope this helps, been a long time since I played this game

Welcome to the board, Alibaba and Workingclasszero!!!

You do not need to kill the leprechaun at all. Getting his treasure for the quest is a matter of finding a chest by going through Anephas' Tomb/Temple of Isis. Many players have brought the leprechaun down though, so you are welcome to try!

Well, if I manage to kill Leprechaun then. Can I still get the treasure?

Why, YES you CAN, Alibaba! And DON'T delay! Fry 'em TODAY! 'cause it might take 'till next week to do it! But oh, what fun you'll have! I did it with the stone spell, "Lightning," but chose one that works for YOU! :) All you have to do is stand in a spot where you know he'll be walking by sooner or later, and ZAP the little bugger as he goes by! :) Yes, he'll "Vanish" you and MAYBE cast an annoyance of a damaging spell, but nothing to worry about. The only problem I had was getting caught off guard by a few Jungle Lillies one night while stalking the "Leper". Eventually he'll keel over and meet Kerah on the other side, if you know what I mean. You'll get some good exper. points from him, and his staff, which is a pretty good one that IS blessable! I used it for quite some time in the game. Killing him or letting him live won't effect your finding his treasure in the least! Have fun!
