Just out of curiousity, what happens if I let the monkeys go
a bit early, while im still exploring?
Will I have trouble finding that last one???
Should I just let him be until I need him???

Really doesn't make a difference when you release the monkeys as far as I know. If you release them and don't chase the one with the idol down immediately you may very well have difficulty finding him later. Could be fun! :D

I guess I am going to be in the serpent temple for quite a bit
I'll keep you updated on my finding that darn monkey.
Don't want to go back cuz I'll have to do a whole chuck worth of work.
I saved over my saves....I usually dont do that if I am unsure of the outcomes......
