I've been following the walk through for Shurugeon Castle, but have come across a problem with Ardibren. When I go to meet him in the clearing outside he fails to give me the Paw of Contagion. I use every keyword that pops up on the scroll, as well as Trade & Paw of Contagion & still all he says is "I cannot speak further about that. I thought maybe if I left he would drop it with his staff when he dies, but all he does is shout "Wait, there is more I must tell you." Then when I return he just stands there silently not telling me any more. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated as this is getting really frustrating. Thanks in advance.

It's strange that Ardibren hasn't given you the evil element. Have you tried to talk to him about Haleabus? I think that opens up some more answers. Maybe you could try to pick-pocket him (as I did with Lysandra)... sorry that I couldn't help you more :(

I talked to him about Haleabus, but didn't try pickpocketing him. I'll try that tonight. Thanks for the input.

I believe that you have to talk to him about the evil elements (use "elements" as key word) and their locations. He'll go though the list and the last one he talks about is the Paw - which he'll then give to you.
