On the Enchanted Isle, I've been clunking around for quite awhile. (I also took too long a break from the game and am trying to remember what's what!) Anyway, I've placed the "monkey bridge" statue on the Monkey Altar and the Ashes of Anephas on the "Holy Altar", but haven't gotten any sign that that's right. How do I open the door with the pole sticking out the right-hand side? Also, please tell me that there is a way out of this place that leads to the Lost Sea and Isle of Sands.

It isn't enough to put the ashes on the altar, you must also bring light to the ashes. Have you talked to Kerah? Have you found the Obelisque of Light and put it on the appropriate pedestal? Look around and you will notice many other obelisques that you can move about. Look at the floor and you'll see many numerous squares on the floor - put them all together and you will find your way!
