i found a mallet in a barrel in durlags tower and i know its for a quest and i need the head where is it?
and one other thing how do you get on the roof of durlags tower i can just get to the top leval and where is the head of the mallet, do you fix it by the altar/door and were is the gong?

The head is in the room at x 3400 y 850. On a shelf.

At 2nd level, there is door that leads outside to the roof.

watch out there is a killer trap in the hall way that leads to the door that opens to the roof on the second flood > this trap will vaperize your character and you'll loose him for the rest of the game no raise dead will bring them back because they are fried beyond return by bolts of electricity sometims two or more will die in this trap so cast detect and then disarm it before you pass.

Perhaps not all the traps in the Durlag's Tower are killers, but I wouldn't step on any. Have a detector (thief or cleric) always (and I mean always)searching.
