I seem to be stuck in the Serpant Temple in the underwater tunnel. I have my smallest character (Pixie) in the lead. Yet, I still cannot seem to get through the tunnel. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

OK, now that that is out of the way, onto business. I do believe you're talking about the Snake Pits (or whatever they are called). You were sent there by Kreug? Usually, having the smallest character helps the party maneuver around better.. I don't see why you would still be stuck.. Can you move back? Try going back, then forwards again.. Thanks for the warm welcome.
I tried going back and forth, but I am still stuck. I even went back to the first town to create a ratling for my party. I thought that maybe a ratling would be small enough to fit. No such luck. . . Any other thoughts? |
Hi, I had precisely the same problem as you...
But I got through with my pixie. Maybe it will help if you exit the temple and then enter again with your pixie selected. That's the only thing I can think of. Btw, make sure that the tunnel is not blocked by monsters. Good Luck!! //Jazzid |
Welcome to the board, Albino Wolf!!!
This particular problem has happened to so many players http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif Exiting and re-entering the Temple can sometimes solve the problem. Wiggling about and spinning can sometimes solve the problem. The snake idol is at the end of this difficult tunnel and using it in the Library will gain you the answers you need to say to Naga spirit to get the giant head to open and allow you access to areas beyond. Fortunately, those answers are in the Best Tips thread so if you can't manage to get through that tunnel, you can still play on! Good Luck! Wyv |
Yes!!!
It took a long time, but I was finally able to get through the tunnel. I must have reloaded my game 15 or 20 time before I managed to get through. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I was definitely getting tired of my characters drowning while attempting to get through. Thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement! |

I actualy encountered this problem once again last night. The Short Party where not amused. I recently decided to let them catch up with my main party (the finished one). Killing Xyzunomi wasn't as easy without bloodlust (I'd sold the potions to aford poison curing services earlier) and poor old Sigurd was having to mend everybodies weapons (fighting the Naga seems to do a lot of damage to you're weapons, they'll break about two third of the way through unless you have bloodlust runing, or heroic might or someone mending them every two or three attacks, they can mend whilst paralised but I had to reload every time one got turned to stone).
