One of the evil elements was inadvertently put into the center hole...ok I wasn't paying attention. Anyway, it won't come out, so I am unable to put the mask there. Any known tricks on removing it?

Did you try to reload or is it too far back?

How sad that thisa has to be your first post!!!
If you can't remove it or place the mask in its position in the outer ring and have it work, *wince* you'll need to reload an earlier saved game.

So sorry!
You might want to hold out hope that the great and mighty Wyvern could help you by sending her your saved game but more than likely, you'll have to go back to the earlier saved game solution.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Thanks for the warning! It never happened to me but it might happen easily. Another example of a slapdash work of the W&W realization team.
One last hopeless idea. Try to put the mask in the place of the element which is now in the center. Perhaps, it is possible if it was possible to put an element into the center. Perhaps, it will work as if the mask were in the centre. Perhaps... Chances are low.
