Just so that Dude77 doesn't have a monopoly on silly questions (only joking), here is one of my own. How do you set the wand of fire to either fireball of the scorcher? They always seem to shoot fireballs in my hands. And yes my sig is supposed to be ironic!

When you put the wand of fire in one of your quick slots, right click on its icon in the main game interface. That will give you the choice of selecting either fireball or agannazar's scorcher - but be careful, because fireball will only drain one charge, but the scorcher will take two off your wand. Also, fireball is, generally speaking, more powerful. So I'd only really use the scorcher if you have to

A deep, dark voice boomed out and proclaimed.....
Beware the evil that lies wihin the 'Wand of Fire'. It is like a drug - soon you will be letting off Fireballs left, right and centre until tactics are a thing of the past. You may even get the urge to descend deeper into madness by using the truely evil 'Wand of Monster Summoning'. Be warned, keep to the role playing spirt and do not follow the path that is Cheesy...... Are you a Man, or a Mouse!! Here endeth the surmon. M.G. |
I'm afraid its too late for me, when it comes to wands of fire and monster summoning I'm as cheesy as they come!! However the right button trick is bit hard for me since I'm a one-buttoned mac user. Any other ideas?

I have 5 wands of fire. Don't use them too much as I sometimes burn the entire party.
Wand of Monster Summoning. Ohh man I used the first wand in no time. Gotta buy another one soon. Just need more space in the inventory. [ 02-24-2003, 06:35 AM: Message edited by: Jan ] |
Cheese alert!!
You could just sell it and buy it back fully charged |
I know but I forgot all about it and I had deleted the old savefiles. D'oh. It was stupid!! Nevermind. I can buy a new one. No problem as I have lots of gold.

If you really dont wanna use money, sell it and steal it back! no money loss, though i dont do that kinda thing. seems a bit unrealistic to sell something and practically steal it back before the shopkeeper lays his hands on it! Takes a certain flavour out of the game.
