I have tried everything possible to get through the underwater tunnel between the two snake holding areas and i cant seem to do it right. My party stops right before they get above water level. Could this be a glitch similiar to the toad guy being stuck in the water. If it is am i SOL. any help appreciated. thanks.

1) Choose your shortest character (pixie, etc.)
2) Wiggle up and down and right and left
3) Look down while surfacing
4) Skip it - you really don't need the statue (which leads to the Book of the Servant) - you just need the text from the book for the Snake Ritual:

When the Serpent charms, The servant bows
While the Serpent schemes, The servant dreams
As the Serpent sleeps, The servant waits
When the Serpent strikes, The servant prays

My own experience:
1. It is always possible to emerge from the tunnel - even with a lizzord or another tall character.
2. If you have a Witch's Stick: Put the ooze into sleep and try to push it forward. For some unknown reason, your chances to emerge increase considerably. Now, when you are out of the tunnel, you can finish the ooze.
3. When trying to emerge: If you are unsuccessful, return underwater and try another direction out. Try again. And again... Until you get drowned or until you suceed. I usually suceeded in the end.

unfortunatly i have already killed the ooze, and still i have not been able to get up there. Im on the verge of just cheating
