I have so many traits that they don't fit on the panel any more, how do i get to see what I have?

Davros 07-06-2001 05:34 AM

Unfortunately the answer is that you don't get to see what has scrolled off the page. Be careful with what traits you add (ie don't get every weapon, specialise on one or two). Sorry, but it is one of those unfortunate undocumented features of the game.

Has any body who knows the data format written a trait viewer then? http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

If you go to the downloads section there is a trainer(cheeter) that allows you to change your charaters and it will have check marks for every trait a charater has(just don't add any new ones this is the honor system...hehehe)

Davros,

You can get as many traits as you want, whether they show up or not...it's the SKILLS that you have to worry about scrolling off the screen.

Best thing to do is only to develop those skills which are mission-critical to you. Go whole-hog on the Traits, though! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Merack, what I resorted to was printing up character sheets and updating them every time I leveled up or trained my characters at a guild. I have a template for them in Word, if you or anyone else is interested...I could provide that for download. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Saz, you're so funny!!

I too produced templates in Excel. One for Stats, one for Traits & Characteristics, and one for spells. I check, change and add every time my characters level up or sign up for training at one of the guild houses. Oh! Don't forget when you invoke amulets and ankhs!

Just a simple typo Sazerac - you know - type in "trait", but mean "skill". Thanks for that typo licence Wyv, or I would have real trouble trying to explain my way out of that "misatke" http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif.

Sorry, Davros! I thought you may have gotten confused...LOL, I should know better! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif I still get confused on some things like that myself.

I need to start playing my game again..I've let it go off for a while.
