After Dragon Spire i pawned off everything we've been carrying and ended up with over 90,000 gold.

And guess what folks? (Warning : SPOILER follows!)

There's NOTHING .ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to buy at Brimloch Roon that I dont already have. Most of the stuff is cr4p I've seen in the last town. And there I was pockets near bursting with *90,000 gold pieces* and nothing to spend it on.

Maybe I've been spoiled by Diablo II and Baldur's Gate and Might & Magic where there's always new and interesting items to buy, but I just think its poor game design to have all the towns sell more or less the same rubbish.

Finding stuff and treasures during a quest is one thing but I'd also like to be able to save up for that 35,000 gold Hammer of the Stars that I've been lusting after.

I suppose it was my fault. I always thought Brimloch Roon was stocked to the rafters with rare weapons, rings, armor, etc. Unfortunately W&W fails in that respect.

Oh well there's always Morrowind and Wizardry VIII to look forward to

As money not really an issue as you can get bags of it when ever you want, then you'd never really have to save up for anything. (even when your running with the patch)
