OK, So, If I off every VIP in the game and then reset all the quests... Will the VIPs be reborn? Or will I be screwed?

When you reset adventures, all NPC's are resurrected and go back to where they were. Even Gareth returns to life!

Let me add another comment on this subject...

The gold and inventories of all persons
remain mostly intact after reset;
only quest items are wiped out (i.e. for example all
keys, crystals, bauble stick, etc.)
I noticed that divine chain of d'soto is left intact;
the monks ward as well; and (if remember correctly) the four tomes
(those connected with zenmaster quest).

Frequently to restart a new game (with extra bonus for myself)
I create one mule which keeps all valuable items, some gold and
such things like spider eggs (warlock quest), a few raptor eggs
(ranger quest) a few of magic books, some silver rings, and such.
Then I create a new team and redistribute the items....
Anyway too much cheating kills all the pleasure - if you cheat
you definitely should not overdo it !!!!
